There has been an ever-growing need for additional pet care in Atlantic County. Northfield Veterinary Hospital is excited to offer emergency care, urgent care, primary care, and a range of specialty pet care. Conveniently located 6 minutes from our sister hospital, Linwood Pet Hospital, the expansion brings additional state-of-the-art space, new equipment, a comfortable lobby for clients, and plans to add additional specialists– bringing new services, shorter wait times, and advanced care to patients.
Urgent & Emergency Care
Northfield Veterinary Center has medical staff on-site 24/7 and is available for urgent care and emergencies during our regular business hours – every day from 8 a.m. – midnight. We also offer phone triage for those times when you’re not sure if your pet is experiencing an emergency – just give us a call. You can even turn to our experienced staff to perform any emergency surgeries and procedures your pet may need. We can accommodate any overnight hospitalization and provide oxygen therapy around the clock. At Northfield Veterinary Center, when you choose us as your primary care veterinarian, your pet receives the best in emergency care at the general practice fee.

At Northfield Veterinary Center, we’re passionate about creating the best experience for both you and your pet. No one wants to see a pet feeling anxious over a visit to the doctor! So, our staff put in extra training to become certified in Fear Free® protocols. This initiative was started by Dr. Marty Becker and creates a veterinary experience that keeps your pet in a calm and happy state of mind.
